Position Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our equipment and facilities operate at peak performance. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on safety and preventative maintenance.
What To Expect:
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Install, adjust, and align production equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in accordance with company standards.
- Work collaboratively with production staff to minimize equipment downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with facility repairs including lighting, plumbing, and building systems.
What We're Looking For:
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Must have HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record and be flexible with hours and days worked as needed.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- IT Knowledge a plus
- Technical qualification in an engineering discipline preferred.
Work Environment:
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). Frequent use of company communication devices are required such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics.
