An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. .  This position monitors patient safety issues and analyzes patient safety events. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

Patient Safety Activities:

  • Organize, aggregate, and analyze data related to reported incidents which enables the identification of trends. 
  • Prepare communication material of incident data/information to report up to senior leadership on high-impact, high-visibility issues 
  • Assist HCEs with ongoing issue tracking by reviewing previously reported issues for updates to change requests, solution changes, package releases, installs, etc. 
  • Provide issue ticket updates in VA JIRA 
  • Input status updates into VA Jira for identified patient safety flagged tickets
  • Review Flashes for relevance to VA
  • Contribute to Monthly Progress Report (MPR) TO deliverable
  • Focus on patient safety on the VA project - dedicated to Federal Patient Safety team
  • Able to work fluidly in Remedy and pull necessary information/details out into digestible information for the client
  • Able to pull together integrated teams for escalated/complex issues to determine mitigation plans/communication to client
    • Able to work with SSOs and ticket owners on escalated items
  • Support go-lives (virtually) as a vital member of the Patient Safety Command Center
  • Aggregate, track and trend patient safety data
  • Utilize Oracle tools to develop dashboards/trend view of patient safety issues

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
