Paint Line Tagger - Day Shift

Location: Vernon, CA, United States

Pay Rate: $19.55 (plus weekly production bonus)

Basic Job Functions:

 

• Hang hooks on the moving line
• Ensure that the beams and frames are orderly hanged on the rotating line
• Inspect and report any paint damages
• Bundle the material that is going to be shipped
• Tagging the finished products to prepare for shipments
• Load the material that needs to be painted
• Offload the finished material from moving line; the employees are always rotating positions and can be moving/lifting/tugging up to 50lbs.
• Must use the overhead crane to bundle the finished frames
• Check tags via our system.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimal experience working in a comparable manufacturing environment or paint line area.
• Willing to work any shift as required--weekends, overtime, holidays, and other.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Bilingual - English and Spanish speaking.
• Computer profiiency, preferred.
