Job Description:

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing program execution and resource planning for material flow, material display, kitting, and sequencing within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Material Flow and Facilities & Equipment deliverables, ensuring timely execution.
  • Maintain ongoing coordination with the plant Production Control (PC) group.
  • Ensure strict adherence to milestone timelines and reporting requirements.
  • Lead weekly open issues meetings to address challenges.
  • Provide support for special meetings and presentations as needed.
  • Maintain a monthly financial summary for all facility and equipment-related items.
  • Track program costs (actual vs. budget) for all team members.
  • Develop and manage a Microsoft Project timeline, ensuring alignment with other Program Manager.
  • Maintain a Program Direction Log, including meeting documentation, best practices, and process improvements.
  • Oversee station readiness checklists for each loop/phase of implementation.
  • Ensure completion of Safety and Ergonomic Buyoffs for all station layouts.
  • Update KPI metrics as required to assess program performance. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Automotive Manufacturing.
  • 4+ years of experience in Material Handling OR Production Control OR Logistics, OR Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years in Program Management or a similar leadership role.
  • Program Management Training or Certification is nice to have
