Job Description

Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Virginia Beach is adding an Outbound-Calling Associate to our team to help us provide premier customer service to customers searching for their next car online. This is a Monday through Friday position, no Saturdays. Expected schedule is 9AM to 6PM with some flexibility available for the right candidate. Position pays $16/hour.

Summary:
The Internet Sales Assistant is responsible for making initial and follow up phone calls to customers that are in the market for a vehicle, as well as managing a high volume of online chats. The goal will be to positively impact gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards while conducting business in an ethical and professional manner.

Essential Duties:
- Satisfy customers’ needs and meeting or exceeding department sales appointment goals

- 100 outbound calls daily

- Chat with online customers via chat tool
- Using the Customer Relationship Management System (eLead) in managing all customer contact and keeping accurate records of every contact result
- Building relationships with customers and consulting with them to determine their needs
- Presenting vehicle selections best suited to each customer’s stated needs and benefits in action during the vehicle test drive

- Assist Internet Sales Manager in other tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s or bachelor's degree, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience; consumer to consumer experience, preferred
- Strong negotiation, problem solving, and presentation skills
- Intermediate MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematics skills
