Associate Laboratory Quality Representative at Everett Medica Center 

The Associate Laboratory Quality Representative assists supervisors in coordinating the daily work flow of the laboratory operations team in providing service to both our inpatient and outpatient service lines. Provides technical and advisory expertise to lab, nursing, medical and other clinical staff to meet their immediate testing needs regarding registration, specimen collection, receiving, processing, send outs, and laboratory POC testing.  Coordinates training for new caregivers and assures competency for new and current caregivers. Ensures laboratory technical, operational, and process improvement goals are met. Maintains and follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation agencies and Washington State laws. Works with Laboratory management to ensure that the scope of services provided meets the needs of the caregivers, clients, and patients.

Required qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.
• 5 years Previous laboratory experience in sendout testing
• Clinical Laboratory Information Systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree.
• Familiarity with test menus

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
