Job Description:

 DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, Strategic Supplier Mgmt. located in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Raynham, Massachusetts, or West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Senior Manager, Strategic Supplier Management is responsible for global third‑party supplier strategy, governance, and performance management across the DPS Global Real Estate (GRE) portfolio. This role ensures that external real estate and facilities service providers are commercially optimized, operationally aligned, and strategically leveraged to support DPS business objectives, portfolio transformation, and cost discipline. A key responsibility of the role will be in defining the future supplier strategy for the short, medium and long term to create a nimble and proactive approach to supplier management. 

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Real Estate, this role serves as the single global owner for supplier governance, partnering closely with DePuy Synthes Global Real Estate, Facility Management and Corporate Operations team to drive consistency, accountability, and value realization from the global supplier ecosystem. 

 

Scope of Role 

• Global portfolio: ~187 properties across manufacturing, R&D, office, and support sites 

• Supplier coverage: Real estate and Facility Management service providers (e.g., transaction management, project delivery, facilities/property services, advisory, workplace, and specialty vendors) 

• Geographic reach: Global (Americas, EMEA, APAC) 

• Authority: Global standards, governance, performance frameworks, and escalation; regional execution via matrixed partnership
