Job Description:

The Senior Information Security Analyst defines, develops and/or implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, tools and provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank. Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level for own area.

Depth & Scope:

  • Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Acts as a key resource and subject matter expert in at least one technology niche/ field and/or line of business
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more technology controls / security domains, disciplines and practices
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls / security/ risk issues

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Information security certification / accreditation an asset
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CFE, CERT Insider Threat Program Manager) are highly preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial crimes investigations, insider threat management, or related fields with a focus on preventative or proactive measures.
  • Proven track record of identifying and mitigating emerging risks before they materialize into significant incidents.
  • Familiarity with insider threat detection platforms.
  • Strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and insider threat prevention strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in analyzing large datasets and detecting early indicators of risk.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and create innovative, forward-thinking solutions to mitigate both financial crime and insider threats.
