Lead a Program That Changes Lives
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of liver and pancreas cancer care in South Texas. As Director of the Liver and Pancreas Tumor Center, you will own the strategic direction and growth of a high-impact, multidisciplinary oncology program within the University Transplant Center, one of the nation's leading transplant programs. You will build new health system partnerships, expand patient access, and lead a team dedicated to exceptional outcomes for some of the most complex patients in medicine.

What You Will Do
• Supervise personnel and operational structure of the service line to maximize growth and streamline workflows.
• Partner with nursing and hospital leadership, physicians, and external organizations to advance the Liver Tumor and Pancreas Tumor programs
• Ensure clinic cost-effectiveness and supervise fiscal operations of the program.
• Lead the marketing strategy for the Liver Tumor Center and Pancreas Tumor Center and represent the program to professional and community groups.
• Anticipate patient care needs with your team, assess staffing, space, and equipment needs, and ensure annual goals are met across each clinic and discipline.
• Foster communication and collaborative relationships with medical staff, departments, patients, and the community; represent the service line on interdepartmental committees.
What You Will Bring
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited university and a current Texas Nursing License.
• Nursing certification aligned with Magnet requirements and applicable to the role, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• Five years of progressive management experience preferred.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred, ideally in oncology or a related specialty.
• Experience in managing ambulatory financial clearance is preferred.
• A results-oriented, patient-centered leadership style with a strong commitment to service excellence, clinical outcomes, and growth.
