Welcome to our team
Our team is a key hub in our organization, responsible for the engineering, design, and delivery of digital systems for large capital projects within Animal Health (AH).
Our multidisciplinary team includes Digital Delivery Managers, Technical SMEs, and Product Coe Leads with deep expertise in implementing digital solutions across manufacturing operations.
We collaborate closely with Global Engineering, Quality, AH IT, and Operations to achieve our goals within the organization.
Your internship assignment
As an intern, you will contribute to the engineering, design, and delivery of digital systems that enable shop-floor process automation and IT/OT networks in new manufacturing facilities.
You’ll work alongside package delivery leads within the Capital Projects group, gaining hands-on exposure to regulated, GMP environments.
Your responsibilities
Support engineering and design of digital systems aligned to ISA‑95 within the Automation and IT architecture
Assist delivery leads to monitor and control digital project deliverables, timelines, and documentation
Participate in commissioning and qualification of shop-floor digital systems for new facilities
Develop engineering design documents in line with SDLC and Gapp requirements
Contribute fresh ideas to improve Digital Delivery plans, processes, and standards within capital projects
The described tasks form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.
What is required
Final-year HBO student in one of: Elektrotechniek (Electrical Engineering), Mechatronica (Mechatronics), Technische Bedrijfskunde (Industrial Engineering & Management), Applied Science (Toegepaste Natuurwetenschappen), or related
Familiarity with at least one of the following is desirable: Industrial Automation, Controls Engineering, PLC/SCADA/HMI, GMP and validation, project management, biopharma, mechatronics, electrical engineering
Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (written and verbal)
Availability: 6 months, minimum 4 days per week
