Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. 

This position starts at $20.25/hr. Plus $.50 shift differential

Position Description:  

POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for operating production machine equipment such as Blenders, Mixers, and other equipment as assigned.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Interpret daily production schedule 

• Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications 

• Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements 

• Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production 

• Prepare equipment for production and test runs 

Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance on equipment 

• Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy 

• Ensure work area is maintained clean 

• Record keeping and attention to detail 

• Ensure work area is clean at all time 

• Follow department standards 

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Must have three months of machine operator experience listed in job history. 

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 45 pounds repeatedly during shift  

• Some areas must require repetitive lifting up to 75 pounds during Shift  

• Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day 

• Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis 

• Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas.
