About Global Payment
The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

The Frontend team in Global Payments is committed to building a highly integrated payment product that can be easily connected to the Web, App, cross-platform and other forms of Global Payment capabilities. In addition, we provide efficient and comprehensive services to Developers, Merchants, and others through a series of platforms.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for full stack, architectural, solution design specification and documentation;
2. Lead hands-on aspects of the development cycle including code and design reviews;
3. Recruit, train, and coach team members and set a high technical bar for the team;
4. Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver the best-in-class user experience.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
2. Experienced in leading end-to-end full-stack design, development, and implementation;
3. Experienced in working on high-performance, high-load web services;
4. Good understanding of multi-tier application architecture and protocols, familiarity with product and software development lifecycle process;
5. Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver;
6. Deeply passionate about software coding/development and building great mobile/web applications;
7. Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast-moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years and above leading end-to-end full-stack design, development, and implementation;
- Payment experience is a nice to have

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $210000 - $358000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
