Compensation Manager (level dependent on experience)

About the role
What You'll Do:
- Works with leadership to define the compensation strategy for the company in support of overall business goals
- Designs, implements, maintains and administers competitive and legally compliant compensation programs for all global employees
- Monitors the effectiveness of current compensation programs and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
- Designs solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans (e.g. corporate bonus program, sales incentive compensation plans, etc.)
- Advises staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations and job evaluations
- Collaborates and consults with HR Business Partners on offers, promotions, and salary adjustments
- Oversees participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved
- Continue to evolve and maintain global compensation programs including pay philosophy, executive compensation, sales incentive plans and commission structures, pay increases, bonus and incentive pay and other reward programs
- Oversee compensation process and market-based job evaluation system, job family and title organization structuring
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or related field)
- Total 5+ years of progressive experience in employee compensation programs
- Proficient in compensation market survey tools and platforms (e.g. PayScale Market Pay, Payfactors, CompAnalyst)
- SHRM Certified Compensation Professional (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or other certified compensation professional credentials preferred
- Experience in a global environment – including an understanding of the financial and legal implications of global compensation programs preferred
- Experience with UKG HR Management System preferred
- CRO Industry experience preferred
