Slot Tech I / Apprentice Tech- Swing Shift

Come join Team Atlantis! As a Slot Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of slot machines in a gaming establishment. This role ensures the machines are functioning properly, adheres to regulatory compliance, and provides excellent customer service when addressing player concerns.

 

This role is ideal for individuals with a knack for technology, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing great customer experiences.

 

Swing Shift Position 

Responsibilities

• Basic slot repair skills (Ability to complete PM's, Diagnose and Swap basic parts)
• Maintenance of all Slot Machines
• General casino floor coverage
• Assistance with basic guest issues and questions
• Can verify Paytable information
• Follow all slot software procedures
• Use/understanding of HotSOS
• Schedule Flexibility (Workload, Vacation)
• Ability to move slot machines
• Use of Inventory System effectively and proficiently
• Basic understanding of progressive controllers & logic used
• Basic understanding of player tracking systems
• Other duties as assigned my management.

 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.  The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Nevada Gaming Registration Required
• Experience in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic understanding of gaming regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working on the gaming floor in a noisy, busy environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
