As a Maintenance Tech III on the second shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and functionality of our building systems. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service requests, repairs, and parts used.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve facility-related issues.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong understanding of building systems and equipment.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
Flexibility to work second shift and participate in on-call duties as needed.
