Reagent Manufacturing Chemist 1

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques for application in all aspects of Reagent Bead production

·       Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures used in Reagent Bead manufacturing

·       Reagent Formulation Lab equipment maintenance

·       Maintain work area in compliance with GLP and cGMP

·       Follow Zoetis Safety Practices

·       Support company goals and objectives, policies and standard operating procedures

·       Maintain accurate logs and operational binders

·       Provide feedback to Supervisor when a deviation from accepted practice or safety issue is recognized

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

·       Solid technical scientific and laboratory skills

·       Good oral and written communication skills.

·       Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

·       Proficient in desktop software applications such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Visio and Excel.

·       Proficient to perform in SAP operations

·       Ability to perform TrackWise and ARIBA

·       Solid collaboration and team skills.

·       Ability to multi-task and work independently.

·       Experience with participating on project teams.

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·       AA/BS Degree (science background preferred) and/or 0-3+ year experience in Reagent Manufacturing.

·       Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Power point)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·       Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds liquid nitrogen transfer vessel

·       Flexibility to cover rotating duties.

Ability to grasp and manipulate objects like pipettors, flasks, and bottles. 

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in [California] Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

 

Base Pay Range: $28.00 - $46.30
