Junior AP Accountant

Description:

• Focus on daily, weekly and monthly AP tasks to support continuous business operations, including special projects as requested by the Sr AP Accountant
• Drive the monthly media reconciliation process for AP
• Work closely with the Sr AP Accountant on process improvements relating to the payables cycle
• Learn and be an expert of Tatari’s proprietary dashboard and backend systems as it relates to accounting
• Be a point of contact for Network partners and assist internal teams with questions as they arise promptly
• Become the knowledge base of all AP related tasks and processes--you are able to be the backup to the Revenue Accountant or AP Accountant at a moment’s notice
• Contribute to the month-end close process on routine/non-complex accounts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably at a fast-paced start-up or ad-tech company
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets  (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• A great attitude and willingness to learn new things
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Bonus: experience with Quickbooks
