What the Role Is

 

As a Fulfillment Wave Planner, Night Shift you’ll play a key role in keeping our fulfillment operations running smoothly by planning and releasing order waves that align with inventory, staffing, and shipping deadlines. This is a fast-paced, data-driven role where your decisions directly impact our customer experience.

This role is overnight, Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am

Who You Are

• Experienced & Focused: 2+ years in warehouse planning or inventory control, ideally in a fulfillment environment
• Tech-Savvy & Skilled: Proficient with WMS and Excel (or similar tools) for data analysis and wave management
• Analytical & Precise: Able to assess data, identify patterns, and execute with accuracy
• Clear & Collaborative: Communicates effectively with both leadership and frontline teams
• Problem-Solver & Improver: Quick to troubleshoot and always looking for ways to optimize operations
• Detail-Oriented & Reliable: You ensure every wave is timely, accurate, and aligned with daily goals

How You Will Make An Impact

• Wave Planning: Develop and release wave batches based on order priorities, volume, and resource availability
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with inventory control teams to ensure accurate stock levels before releasing waves
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track wave progress, address issues, and report on productivity metrics and fulfillment accuracy
• Collaboration: Communicate wave schedules and changes to warehouse supervisors and team leads
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements in wave planning and inventory processes
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of wave releases, order fulfillment rates, and inventory discrepancies

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay that is competitive and aligns with industry standards. 

The pay rate for this role is $20.00 per hour.
