Financial Analyst, Sr.

We are searching for a Financial Analyst, Sr. on behalf of our client.  This is a 1 yr. contract assignment.   The person in this role will be responsible for providing financial planning, facilitating strategic discussions, and analysis for the Late-Stage Engineering & Construction Team.  The person  will be involved in coordinating and managing the monthly spend curve reporting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• In this role, the person will be relied upon to provide support to E&C leadership, Project Managers, and the Project Controls team. 
• The person in this role will be supporting  senior management decision-making via financial modeling and analysis, including but not limited to, cash flow and termination timing, discounted cash flow analysis, and financial statement modeling.
• This position identifies and conducts complex analysis of financial impacts to issues and/or decisions facing the company and proposes strategies to maximize financial performance of company.
• Identifies, analyzes, and communicates to management the impact on the Project’s financial structure, profitability, and competitive position utilizing relevant analytical methods and/or department forecasting models.
• Provides expertise, support, and financial training for the company departments requiring these services.
• Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies.
• Prepares PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management
• Develop internal financial models and tools to support communication of key project details and business rules as it relates to estimates, cashflows, termination and other financial components of a project.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s - Accounting / Finance
• Financial Modeling expertise
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
