The Financial Analytics Lead manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues. The Financial Analytics Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Financial Analytics Lead to join the Data Foundations team in Insurance Products Actuarial – Models & Process. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving financial data infrastructure, supporting audit processes, and enabling self-service analytics for partner teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and usability across financial operations. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop self-service tools that support actuarial pricing decisions in the Medicare bid process. 

• Manage the scheduling, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Medicare Bid underlying base data datamart and reporting infrastructure. 

• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide financial reconciliation support for enhancements to Medicare Bid underlying base data datamart & enterprise member-level financial datamart (“MMMUF”). 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related issues and troubleshooting within Medicare bid datamart platforms. 

• Own and manage the bi-annual financial audit and annual bid audit process, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. 

• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support benefit design decision-making during bids, audits, and internal reviews. 

• Partner with finance operations and service teams to resolve discrepancies and improve audit readiness. 

• Maintain and improve tools used by internal teams for financial planning and bid evaluation.

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred) 

• 5+ years of experience in financial analytics, data infrastructure, or a similar role 

• Background in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries 

• Strong SQL and data management skills; experience working with large datasets and reporting systems 

• Familiarity with financial audit processes and internal controls 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

• 2 years project leadership experience 

• Experience in managing data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
