The Financial Analytics Lead manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues. The Financial Analytics Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Financial Analytics Lead to join the Data Foundations team in Insurance Products Actuarial – Models & Process. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving financial data infrastructure, supporting audit processes, and enabling self-service analytics for partner teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and usability across financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop self-service tools that support actuarial pricing decisions in the Medicare bid process.
Manage the scheduling, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Medicare Bid underlying base data datamart and reporting infrastructure.
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide financial reconciliation support for enhancements to Medicare Bid underlying base data datamart & enterprise member-level financial datamart (“MMMUF”).
Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related issues and troubleshooting within Medicare bid datamart platforms.
Own and manage the bi-annual financial audit and annual bid audit process, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support benefit design decision-making during bids, audits, and internal reviews.
Partner with finance operations and service teams to resolve discrepancies and improve audit readiness.
Maintain and improve tools used by internal teams for financial planning and bid evaluation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of experience in financial analytics, data infrastructure, or a similar role
Background in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries
Strong SQL and data management skills; experience working with large datasets and reporting systems
Familiarity with financial audit processes and internal controls
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
2 years project leadership experience
Experience in managing data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
Explains variances and trends and enhances modeling techniques
