Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN for the Main Campus Operating Room. We offer a full spectrum of surgical services using state-of-the-art technology and minimally invasive approaches. We perform Bariatric, ENT, General, Gynecology, Neurology, Ophthalmic, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Thoracic, Trauma, Urology and Vascular surgeries.

Unit Summary:

Our Main Operating Room is staffed 24/7 to accommodate surgery at any time. The OR suite is made up of thirteen surgical rooms including a dedicated pediatric room and orthopedic suites. The recovery area has twelve bays and a specialized peri-operative nursing team to provide close monitoring of patients during the recovery process.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Qualifications:  

• A minimum of 2 years operating room experience

• Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing are required 

• BSN is strongly preferred 

• Associate’s degree in nursing may be considered. Must enroll in BSN within year

• BLS required 

• Circulating and scrubbing experience

• CNOR preferred

• Call is required with self-scheduling
