Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

Associate’s degree in nursing

 

Working knowledge of obstetrical treatments and newborn safety

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

 

BLS

 

One of the following:

• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

*Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

 

Desired Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in nursing

 

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

Certification in area assigned

Responsibilities

Provides leadership to a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, quality care/services for a designated group of patients/customers. Designs and conducts educational programs related to pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care to meet regulatory and audience demands and to support achievement of Infirmary Health's (IH) standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.
