As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include regularly patrolling assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to support a positive atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Communicate observed issues or incidents to appropriate personnel and document occurrences according to site protocols.
• Assist visitors and staff with directions and information, supporting a positive experience within the healthcare location.
• Remain alert to unusual activities and/or conditions and report findings through established Allied Universal channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
