We are looking for a Value Stream Leader (VSL) / Program Manager to lead all phases of the value stream within the Space Datalinks department of Mission Systems.  This VSL will lead development program efforts related to Space Datalinks architectures and systems. Candidates will be responsible for leading execution of both internal (IR&D) and external development programs, supporting new product introduction and production transition activities.  Coordination with many organizations across Collins Aerospace and Raytheon Technologies will be expected as well as interaction with Government customers and contractors.  Some travel should be expected but will follow Collins corporate and local/state/national guidelines. 

What You Will Do​

• Lead program execution (NRE development of hardware/software and recurring sales), meeting financial, technical and schedule objectives

• Manage design to cost (DTC) goals for products to meet gross margin targets  

• Run a profitable and predictable business through accurate forecasting, on-time deliveries, and management of risks and opportunities

• Ability to have a growing impact on customer satisfaction due to regular customer interface and project scope

• Lead decision making for the IPTs and applies critical thinking where incomplete data exists

• Develop and execute business plans and strategies to grow the business as part of an overarching business strategy

• Contribute to the development of the Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or

• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or

• In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a Security Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred

• Strong understanding and application of Earned Value Management (EVM)
