Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist, Physical Therapy Sports Medicine will serve in a dual role of practicing Physical Therapist and Program Development.  Develop and administer physical therapy programs and treatments of age groups defined by clinical competency for outpatient Sports Medicine. Develop and implement Physical Therapy Enrichment program for system-wide implementation.  Establish Sports Medicine focused functional kinetic chain rehab to provide total body integrated musculoskeletal care to athletes and active people of all ages and skill levels.

Qualifications

Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy (or will obtain GA license within 30 days of hire and will have no patient contact until received).

Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.

Three plus years practicing as a Physical Therapist.

PREFERRED 

Sports Physical Therapy Residency

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government regulations.

Work Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm
