Senior Director, Finance - Remote US

The Senior Director of Operations Finance leads a team in providing financial tactical and strategic support across all Operations functions:  Warehouse Team (Inbound and Outbound), Retail and Business Operations (Supply Chain, Transportation, Health & Safety).  The scope of this role includes managing the cadenced short-term and long-range planning, performance and variance analysis, investment ROI and rationalization, and ad hoc strategic support. This role reports into the VP, Finance and will partner closely with the CFO, SVP of Operations and their functional leaders. They will need to be comfortable working in a high-growth environment and presenting to the executive leadership team.

What You Get To Do Every Day

• Lead the the annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly forecasts, variance analysis, Risk and Opportunities for input/output metrics across Operations and Retail
• Act as a strategic thought partner to Operations functions to navigate and rationalize costs and productivity in the company’s march to profitability
• Provide close partnership with Retail across performance analysis and brick-and-mortar strategy
• Lead the financial modeling and investment analysis of our warehouse, logistics and transportation expansions
• Collaborate across support functions (Accounting, Procurement, Product/Tech, Legal, HR) to manage the controls]and provide transparency of network effects
• Build new tools and oversee processes to support this team 
• Lead the development of a team of analysts to become truthseekers and build trust across the business

What You Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics
• 8 to 12 years of work experience, preferably in Finance at a high-growth startup or a large, well-established company - Operations Finance Experience a plus
• 6 to 8 years of management experience with a proven track record of developing talent
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Google Apps skills, experience in automation in Excel and/or Google Sheets preferred 
• Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to connect with team members and convey technical financial information to non-financial professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and diverse personalities
• Desire to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
• Self motivated and strong work ethic with a desire to make an impact

Preferred Requirements

• NetSuite, Adaptive Planning and/or Looker experience is a plus

The expected salary range for this role is $160,559.00 - $240,838.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
