Privacy Project Manager - Global Legal

About the Team:

The Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs team (GPRA) handles and oversees legal privacy and regulatory matters pertaining to TikTok's global operations. The team works cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders in the US and around the world to tackle some of the most complex, interesting, and cutting edge issues in privacy and security. We are looking for highly motivated, experienced, and bright professionals to join our exciting team.



Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage new programs/projects to support the GPRA team (Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs team - Global Monetization, E-Commerce and Payments Privacy team's strategic goals and objectives.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the privacy review process and other workflows. Meet with stakeholders to manage changes and interventions.

- Coordinate projects and drive cross-stakeholder alignment to support the implementation of privacy requirements and recommendations (including communication of objectives and progress, setting timelines, tracking progress).

- Help organize cross-functional meetings and workshops, including managing invitations, preparing agendas, keeping notes and tracking progress on action items.

- Assess strengths and identify areas for operational improvements; provide recommendations to address these.

- Work with other project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the organization.

- Measure and monitor key performance indicators and program progress. Report on program performance.
