Within Growth Engineering, the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&amp;I) Team deliver specialist engineering support to a diverse range of projects including hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and transport, gas-storage, renewables, grid support systems (such as battery storage and synchronous compensators) , carbon capture and storage and conventional generation plant. Then we will look forward to meeting you!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Your responsibilities</p> <p> </p> <p><p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and initiative-taking Electrical Lead engineer to take ownership and individual responsibility for project deliverables and the diverse range of challenges their role presents. This individual shall possess some or all of the following experiences:<br/>  </p> <ul> <li>Taking a leading role in power engineering projects within hydrogen, gas-storage, renewables, battery storage and conventional generation plant environments.</li> <li>Delivering technical feasibility studies and front end engineering design for in electrical installations and equipment.</li> <li>Creating technical specifications for electrical installations and equipment such as; HV grid connection &amp; switchgear, high power transformers/ rectifiers, LV equipment, MCC, VSD, pumps, ventilation, lightning, cable routings., equipment in ATEX zones, etc.</li> <li>Process safety methodologies in development of engineering design</li> <li>Technically leading multi-disciplined teams of permanent, temporary, and sub-contractor colleagues to deliver solutions on construction, installation, or major overhaul contracts.</li> <li>Witnessing factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, equipment commissioning and plant handover.</li> <li>Authoring technical reports for internal clients.</li> </ul> </p> <p>  </p> <p>Your profile</p> <p><br/> <ul> <li>Educated to a Higher National Diploma or Degree level in an Electrical Engineering supported with a sound technical knowledge Electrical engineering design and / or practical application gained through relevant experience.</li> <li>Ideally have attained or be working toward professional chartership status.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Initiative-taking individual with the ability to plan and organize workload and priorities.</li> <li>Developing people skills to enable effective working relationships within the team, in multi-discipline project teams and with senior stakeholders.</li> <li>The ability to work under pressure to meet challenging targets.</li> <li>The ability to work independently as well as working as part of a larger multi-discipline project team.</li> <li>Can demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems.</li> <li>Flexibility to travel for this role, within the NL, and sometimes internationally.</li> <li>Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office products, including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Native Dutch language and fluent English required</li> <li>A full NL driving licence.</li> </ul> </p> <p> </p> <p>Your benefits</p>   At Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
