Senior Accountant - Operations

The Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the accounting and finance process. This includes ensuring accurate financial data, reconciling balances, account analysis, and supporting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures

• Perform financial statement account analysis and review

• Help with the implementation and refinement of accounting processes

• Work with the company’s outside accounting firm on tax filings and its annual audit

• Assist in the conversion from QuickBooks to Oracle NetSuite

Requirements

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 3+ years’ experience in an accounting role
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple responsibilities

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience at a CPG or Food/Beverage Company a plus
• Ability to think cross-functionality, join data from various sources, and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external
• Excellent planning, root cause analysis/problem-solving, and organizational skills
