We are looking for a Warehouse Lead to supervise the warehouse distribution operation. This role includes managing and coordinating the activities of warehouse workers, such as filling orders, storing products, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory levels. They ensure that all warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, and that safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements 

We are searching for a candidate with:  

• A valid driver’s license
• The skill and ability to operate an order picker and all forklift equipment (obtained by passing OSHA required written test and demonstration)
• The ability to lift product (up to 20 lbs. 2/3 or more of the time, up to 50 lbs. 1/3 of the time), stand for 8 hours a day, count and write

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities  

A typical day may include:    

• Maintaining awareness of safety principles, and follow safety standards of position
• Inventory control of goods (counting, recording, reporting)
• Maintaining order and placing all stock in designated areas
• Organizing goods and assisting with designating stocking locations as needed
• Quality control of product (identify and report defective, damaged, or otherwise bad products), reworking or scrapping as required
• Serving as a back-up to Forklift and Order Fillers
• Wrapping skids of product for shipment, staging, recording and loading of internal transfers
• Helping out in other locations and departments as necessary
• General shop cleanliness.
• Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership
