Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Enterprise Application who can bring industry experience and knowledge to Supermicro. In this role, as a key member of our enterprise applications specialist team, you will be managing a team of experienced SAP Basis technical experts, helping/guiding basis related day to day activities and managing our SAP upgrade journey. Looking forward to someone who can bring in the industry experience and help transform/streamline SAP implementation at Supermicro.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Design, implement and optimize SAP configurations to maximize availability and performance
• Design and configure SAP to integrate with third-party software solutions and vendors
• Provide technical support on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements
• Implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design, and implementation
• Ensure SAP systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment
• Manage SAP related technical problems, quickly identifying, addressing, and resolving issues
• Work on System refreshes for Java Systems and client copies for ABAP systems
• Collaborate and interface with various stake holders including Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, Development, and Testing
• Participate in various IT/SAP related projects and provide technical guidance and best practices
• Evaluate and apply SAP security patches on regular basis and perform system audits

Qualifications:

• Degree in a computer-based discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent combination
• 8+ years SAP Basis experience ideally working in complex enterprise hybrid environments. Implementation, migration, and upgrade project experience desired
• Experience with the HANA database, SDI, HCP and any other additional technologies will be beneficial
• Provide technical support on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements
• Experience with SAP System build, Support Pack Upgrade and Kernel Upgrade to patch system and SAP Change Management cycle maintenance
• Experience with PO, middleware, integration, and web technologies for SAP solutions
• Experience with Integrating SAP, Non-SAP Application for On-premises, Cloud and Hybrid platform 
• Experience with managing SAP archiving configuration, design, and implementation
• Ability to plan, organize, and conduct system administration operations using industry best practices
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Ability to conduct research into technical issues and technology products
• Highly self-motivated and -directed, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Salary Range

$170,000 - $190,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
