<p><strong>Receptionist</strong></p> <p><strong>Truesdell Animal Care Hospital and Clinic is hiring a full-time and part-time Front-Desk Receptionist</strong> to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.</p> <p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p> <p>As you join our mission, expect to be supported in your work and home life with:</p> <ul> <li>A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>Paid time off and a 401(k) plan for full-time employees</li> <li>Professional development opportunities</li> <li>Employee pet discount because we know your pets are family, too!</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary: </strong>$16.50 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.</p> <p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Full time and part time hours available.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>Full-Time</strong> | ~35 hours/week<br>Monday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM<br>Tuesday & Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM<br>Rotating Saturdays</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal"><strong>Part-Time</strong> | ~12–16 hours/week<br>Tuesday & Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM<br>Saturdays: 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.</li> <li>Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.</li> <li>Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.</li> <li>Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is preferred.</li> <li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills</li> <li>Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Truesdell Anim
