R&A Production Data Head is a senior lead managing the effective execution of all the production critical activities for Wholesale Loans across key regulatory reports like FRY-14, Shared National Credit, 2052a etc. Part of the Regulatory & Analytics group within Citi's Enterprise Data Office (EDO) this role would require effective program management of multiple workstreams for each report responsible for in-cycle exception management, data quality analysis, tactical solution design and senior stakeholder management across Risk, Finance, ICM & Business.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a consistent operating model across all the regulatory reports supported by R&A team in EDO through their production cycles.
- Drive functional realignment of activities back to appropriate teams across Data Providers, Risk, Finance and Business.
- Work closely with all business leaders, in addition to the Data Quality organization, Data Owners, Technology Owners, and Enterprise Data Office personnel teams to support programs for the development and implementation of best-in-class Data Quality management policies, procedures and capabilities including continuous improvement, monitoring, control, and governance of Data Quality
- Act as a senior SME to address issues encountered during production cycle including on tactical solution design, interpretive issues relating to reporting instructions and their implementation.
- Provide approval on workarounds, adjustments and approaches to be taken for strategic and tactical data provisioning.
- Partner closely with teams in EDO responsible for DQ rules design, control framework standup and AI adoption to ensure development in these spheres is utilized appropriately to evolve the team’s functional capability
- Manage senior stakeholder, IA and regulatory engagements for the selected reports representing R&A
- Requires advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions. Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions, or current knowledge of sophisticated areas
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviors, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of leadership/management experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred
- 10+ years hands-on experience with risk analytics, data integration, reporting automation, and process optimization.
- 5+ years regulatory experience . Advanced domain knowledge of key regulatory reports including FR Y-14, Shared National Credit, FRY9c is preferred
- Strong understanding of liquidity risk, capital adequacy, stress testing, and other regulatory frameworks (e.g., Dodd-Frank, Basel III)
- Strong technical solution and delivery skills identifying opportunities & championing ongoing best-in-class business transformation/ innovation for global enterprise projects
- Previous experience as a change agent. Can effectively lead change in an organization with Citigroup’s size, scale and complexity;
- Must have experience leveraging the processes and principles of change
- Effective communication and influential skills using logical thought process, with ability to arrive at consensus across varied user groups. Must be able to communicate effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels management to drive organizational change, defining change criteria, providing support and education, managing resistance, and measuring outcomes
- Manages through ambiguity by making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
