About the role
The Junior Recruiter supports the full lifecycle Wyetech recruiting process. The Junior Recruitermaintains the company vacancy portal and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) postings, conducts initialscreenings, prepares candidate information for submission and coordinates interviews.This is a full-time exempt level position reporting directly to Wyetech’s Talent Acquisition Manager.The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 40 hours/week. The role requires the ability to workonsite at Wyetech’s Odenton, MD office during the core business hours (0900 - 1500) with the optionto work the two remaining (daily) hours earlier or later in the day. There may be an option to workremotely two days per week.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manages the company’s internal vacancy portal and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure up-to-date candidate and vacancy information.
- Create and post job ads across various professional and job-seeker sites and on social media channels.
- Manages candidate pipelines and the screening and submission processes. Conducts phone screens and coordinates interviews between candidates, Wyetech Hiring Managers, and/or customers.
- Attends onsite and offsite customer and/or contract meetings and effectively captures and disseminates critical information to the appropriate Wyetech internal team(s).
- Ensures staffing processes are compliant with all federal contracting regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Minimum 1 year prior recruiting experience is preferred, ideally in a government contracting environment
- Prior experience and success working in customer service and/or a related role is strongly preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.
- Prior experience with Lever ATS is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
