RN - Registered Nurse (Part-Time)

Roden Oral, Facial, and Dental Implant Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a skilled and committed, part-time Registered Nurse to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.

 The ideal candidate for the part-time RN position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care.

The expected schedule for this RN role is working for 16 to 20 hours a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management and uses acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures, local and IV sedation, according to physician orders.
• Evaluate patient’s preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative status at intervals according to facility policies and procedures.
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
• Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Med-Surg, or Critical Care (preferred).
• Associates degree with experience or a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing  required.
• Active Alabama RN License. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Must be detail oriented, punctual, and patient care focused.
• Motivated to grow and learn new things.
