Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Route Service Representative to join our Clifton, NJ team. In this role, you’ll be the face of Dempsey, delivering clean rental products and picking up soiled items along a designated route. You’ll play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with our clients by ensuring timely, accurate, and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a company vehicle to complete daily delivery and pick-up routesLoad, unload, and account for rental products at customer locationsBuild positive relationships with customers by providing professional, courteous serviceAddress any customer concerns or issues and communicate them to the appropriate teamMaintain accurate records of deliveries and returns

What You'll Do

• Serve as the trusted face of Dempsey Uniform, fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers while upholding our high-quality standards and proactively addressing customer needs.
• Operate a company vehicle along your assigned route, delivering exceptional service, managing existing accounts, and presenting new product solutions that add value to our customers’ businesses.
• Leverage your customer service and sales skills to grow your route, strengthen client relationships, and increase your earning potential.
• Accurately manage invoices and inventory, perform regular audits, identify opportunities for additional products and services, and handle service agreement renewals with professionalism.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in full compliance with driving and vehicle regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 22 years for vehicle insurance purposes
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean record
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry products into and out of customers' locations
• Exceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients
• Strong integrity, work ethic, and a friendly, professional, can-do attitude
• Ability to meet our appearance and dress code policy
• Stability in previous work experience
