Campus internship - Relief devices validation project

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with Mozzanica team and Dow team in the world to collect information, perform calculation using our tools and discuss results.</p><p></p><p>Project description </p><p>The scope of the project is to validate relief devices validation as per Dow standard. The first phase of the project will be focused on collecting information and regarding devices and safety vent systems and close existing gaps in the documentation. The second phase of the project will be to properly archive information as required and get them available as needed. At the same time, the data will be provided to the team to complete and validate calculation.</p><p>Highest priority will be for equipment in hazardous service, then the project will be focused on non-hazardous service equipment.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities </p><ul><li>Collect equipment’s data and information to close gaps in available documentation and database.</li><li>Archive needed information and data to proper database.</li><li>Spend time in the field to validate documented information and data</li><li>Provide data and information to Dow team to complete/perform calculation.</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>You are currently studying for a bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>You have a good working knowledge of English and Italian language.</li><li>You are available to start between February and April 2024 for at least 6 months (exact duration to be discussed).</li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Skills </p><ul><li>You are willing to work in a multicultural environment be part of Dow team.</li><li>You like to spend time in the field and participate in trouble-shooting activities.</li><li>You are a tech savvy, enjoying collecting data and relative information.</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional Information</p><ul><li>You are a European citizen, or you have a valid EU visa in place.</li></ul><p></p><p>About Dow</p><p>Dow (NYSE: DOW) combines global breadth; asset integration and scale; focused innovation and materials science expertise; leading business positions; and environmental, social and governance leadership to achieve profitable growth and help deliver a sustainable future.
