Position Summary

 

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of plant operations in carrying out Nestlé Purina’s production objectives. You will empower, coach and develop key subordinates to ensure that safety, quality, service and production standards are prioritized and achieved. In this leadership position, you will oversee production activities involved in the transformation of raw materials into finished product, thereby having a direct impact on factory efficiency, cost, waste and output. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement strategic initiatives to continuously improve and optimize operations.

 

• Select, train and develop team leads and support them in assessing, coaching and managing performance of factory production personnel
• Champion safety and quality across all production lines and shifts and assist in fostering a culture of accountability, care and pride in daily operations
• Maintain and enhance production standards, resources and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines
• Serve as a pillar leader for Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE), specifically Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Manufacturing
• Collaborate with factory leadership to plan and execute strategic maintenance, improvements and projects to optimize equipment and facilities to meet plant capacity needs and strive toward a zero-waste environment
• Model Manufacturing Excellence (ME) through implementation of production goals and methods to achieve targeted delivery and quality requirements 

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $81,500 - $135,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities.
