Why this role matters:

We are looking for a Sr Director, Product Operations will have responsibility for 2 main areas: Product Lifecycle Management (how we envision products through to how we retire them), and Product Delivery (Agile at scale).  As Vonage grows and scales and looks at ways to deliver cutting edge products to our customers, this role will be instrumental in supporting and scaling the Product & Engineering organization within our API BU to enable our growth.

What you will do:

• Work with the Product & Engineering teams on both strategic and operational topics, identifying key focus, prioritization and metrics for success 
• Help improve organizational health across our product and engineering team
• Improving existing or developing new processes to keep our teams as efficient as possible & identifying operational and structural weaknesses
• Building, maintaining, and communicating detailed reporting models to assist expansion efforts, and making data-driven decisions
• Driving strategic initiatives like cross-functional strategic processes, long-term vision/roadmap planning, working flawlessly in partnership with HR, Product, Sales, Marketing, and other adjacent areas where applicable
• Steer and support the execution of the overall OKR strategy for Product & Engineering

What you will bring:

• This role would suit someone from one of the following backgrounds;
• Background in product management, and/or driving Agile at Scale
• Background in program and project management - where you have delivered high profile and large scale technology projects that required lots of organization 
• Experience in managing numerous high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting deadlines
• Proven track record of interacting with senior executives either as a consultant or in an in-house setting
• An ambitious multi-tasker and a problem solver with strong program and project management skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to:
• Define, articulate and drive the vision, strategy, architecture, design, and implementation of complex, large scale software systems.
• Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of audiences.
• Identify risks and threats in current and emerging technologies, procedures, features and operations.
• Develop technical and process skills in others.
• Understand the cross-functional web of requirements needed to drive product and service readiness 
• Transform the operation, driving change management through OKRs, cultural change, and operational rigor.
