What you'll do:
As an employee-owner Warehouse Associate I, you will primarily load and unload building products off and onto delivery trucks; verify the product quality and quantity match the delivery paperwork; and organize and stock inventory in a clean and safe workplace. You may be eligible to be trained to operate a forklift.
Successful candidates will:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and pre-employment drug test.
- Have the ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and 50 lbs frequently. (heavy physical demands)
- Have transferable experience effectively working in a team-centered, fast-paced environment.
- Have warehouse and RF Scanner experience (preferred).
Who we are:
Established in 1943, BMD supplies quality building materials. BMD supplies quality products to independent lumberyards, regional building material dealers, window and door specialty retailers, hardware retailers and home centers. In 1982, we entered into what is now our East service region, quickly becoming leaders in building products distribution for North Carolina, South Carolina, and the surrounding areas, working out of our facility in Dunn, NC.
