About the role
The Senior Manager, Business Systems advises on the development of technology strategies that align with business objectives and leads a team in the management of key components of Granicus’s Salesforce ecosystem. Specifically, this role is responsible for Sales Cloud and CPQ Cloud in addition to a Development team focused on improving and evolving Granicus Salesforce products. The Senior Manager, Business Systems will work closely with stakeholders that utilize these services to optimize and innovate systems and improve operational efficiency.
This role reports to the Director, Business Systems.

The Impact
This role reports to the Director, Business Systems.
What your impact will look like:
- Manage systems operations related to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ and oversee development team to support improvements across Granicus systems, including integrations between systems
- Lead, coach, and mentor team of team of systems analysts, administrators, and developers across focus areas
- Engage with business unit leaders and internal stakeholders to advise on technology strategies, define detailed requirements, design solutions, and build system changes, with a specific focus on stakeholders that utilize Sales Cloud and CPQ
- Work closely with Salesforce analysts across the Business Systems team to identify key opportunities for organizational improvement, as well as the development of technology to increase operational efficiencies
- Manage identified projects from state to finish and participate with cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development, including deployment and post-deployment activities, stakeholder management, and internal communications
- Create high-level architecture diagrams that show both technical and business processes.
- Provide a detailed level of effort estimating for proposed solutions, along with being able to articulate the advantages and risks to business stakeholders
- Assist in basic data cleanup and migration efforts and support Salesforce tools and basic third-party integrations
You will love this role if you have :
- 8+ years of experience in systems, data, enterprise IT, or related fields, with past experience with M&A integration a plus
- Understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security framework, with specific knowledge on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and automation using tools such as Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Flow
- Deep understanding of SDLC and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Excellent project management, having managed and successfully delivered complex projects on-time and on-budget
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, and consulting mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical aspects
- Technical fluency; comfortable understanding and discussing technology concepts, experience evaluating trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members
- Strong understanding of Force.com platform including Apex, Lightning (LWC, Aura), Visualforce, SOQL, unit testing, etc.
- Passionate about building great products and providing a solution-based approach
