(Senior) Digital Solution Consultant (80-100%)

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and IT teams, supporting clients in the design and delivery of digital solutions with high business impact within a banking environment.

• Gather, analyze, and critically assess business requirements from banking users, ensuring clarity, consistency, and feasibility.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and robust technical designs.

• Design and implement solutions end-to-end, from initial analysis through development, testing, and deployment.

• Ensure delivered solutions are aligned with business objectives, regulatory and compliance requirements, and internal IT standards.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams combining deep expertise in banking, architecture, and software engineering to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

• Assess emerging technologies in terms of maturity, feasibility, and business value, and contribute to architecture and tooling decisions based on these evaluations.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Several years of experience in a consulting environment, preferably in financial services.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).

• Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).

• Experience with modern architectures and technologies: REST APIs, messaging, microservices, event streaming platform, container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Avaloq experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with the banking domain and an agile, learning-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (client site, remote, office).

• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
