Assistant Supervisor - Linen and Central Services

Assists the supervisor in the day-to-day operations under the guidelines set up by the LCS Director and adhering to Mayo policies in the Mayo Employee Policy Manual. In collaboration with the supervisor adjusts staffing levels to workload. Assist with guiding, developing, disciplining, and maintaining a staff which provide quality products and services. Will maintain technical and clinical expertise in all areas and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.  Must have Linen & Central Services experience or equivalent. Proficient in sterilization, decontamination, equipment and instrument identification and/or linen processing and distribution. Previous experience or demonstrated leadership ability are requirements. Prefer knowledge of quality processes, inventory control, continuous performance, improvement concepts. Proficient computer skills are necessary.  Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Maintenance of certification CLLM (Certified Laundry and Linen Manager), must be attained within 18 months.
