The Site Global Planning Director ensures the “On Time Delivery” of the Customer contractual milestones for all Projects, by destination in his/her area of responsibility. He/she ensures time coherency between the different functions, axis (project management, development, production), layers (strategic, tactical, operational) for all recurrent and non-recurrent planning activities in his/her area and manages and animates the planner’s community in his/her area as well as promotes continuous improvement culture to improve site performances and great discipline in all planning activities.
For all:
▪ Promote the time management practices and culture in among site management
In tender:
▪ By destination in his area of responsibility: Responsible of achievable and winning planning for tenders with main milestones and risks identified, with the support of the corresponding Product Line
In contract or program execution:
▪ Ensure respect of contractual committed deliveries on time
▪ Ensure application of all planning processes, particularly execution of the strategic planning processes
▪ Ensure application of standard scheduling tools and accuracy of planning data
▪ Prepare different scenarios for the coming 36 months according to commercial and industrial inputs considering long term func tion workloads and internal and suppliers’ capacity
▪ Ensure planning coherency between the different functions in the area, and planning alignment with other areas and sites
▪ Set up additional specific local instructions in line with the central planning processes
▪ Contribute to continuous improvement in planning processes and tools
▪ Manage and animate the planners’ community in his area (competencies, adequation with workload)
