Sales Financial Analyst

As a member of the FP&A team, you will own and administer our global sales commissions process. You will transform our existing commission process into a robust and scalable system. Over time, the role will evolve and include compensation strategy, ensuring sales compensation is aligned with our company objectives. This role is embedded in the FP&A team, and works closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Revenue Operations.
What You’ll Do:

• Lead and own the monthly commissions cycle from start to finish, while ensuring both accuracy and timeliness
• Be the subject matter expert in commissions with regards to commission process, schedule, forecasting and modeling the impact of commission expense to our annual financial plan
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to review commissions regularly
• Research any discrepancies or questions that arise, and effectively communicate findings with cross-functional team
• Build reporting dashboards and share insights and trends with Sales leadership
• Evolve upon and automate our existing model, or potentially select a third party system to implement
• Ad hoc reporting related sales productivity, headcount planning and attrition

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-3+ years in a Sales Finance, Sales Compensation, or FP&A role
• Sales compensation, HR, and/or payroll systems experience a plus
• Expert Excel skills (V-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with senior leadership
• Highly detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Able to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
• Comfortable building and maintaining reports in Salesforce.com, as well as navigating the site to research sales opportunities a plus
• Experience building Tableau dashboards a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
