SOC lead (freelance) Security Operation Center

Job Description

• Develop a monitoring environment for the SOC/Cyber Defense Center
• Implement and administer a SIEM solution to centralize all logging and monitoring
• Develop Security Operations Center (SOC) handbook and operating procedures
• Develop an Incident Response playbook and train the relevant team on how to handle incidents
• Conduct table-top exercises with key security, IT and business stakeholders, including executives
• Collaboration with threat intelligence to integrate into SOC processes
• Collaborate in training, and running exercises focused on Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and how to handle business operations in case of a crisis
• Support phishing exercises and collaborate in security awareness campaigns

Additional Information

• Contract role with start ASAP 
• Experience working in the Health Sciences and Lifecare industry
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, shell, or other scripting languages
• Experience in a product-based environment
