We are seeking part-time workers to build degree plans for adult learners currently enrolled in Flight Path Programs across three UNC System Universities. PKH is an Ed Tech Start-Up whose mission is to serve North Carolina’s colleges and universities by significantly expanding access to higher education and increasing the attainment of high-quality credentials.  Project OverviewDevelop personalized academic plans from first term through to graduation for our 950 current “Flight Path” students and incoming new students to ensure timely progression towards graduation and will assist in providing accurate projections that contribute to course need assessments in working with each offering program and overall university stakeholders. We anticipate needing these workers for 12-18 months and an opportunity to transition from part-time intern to full time positions within PKH or the institutions exists.

What you'll do:

  • Translate transfer credit evaluations into degree plans (pathway to graduation) for degree-seeking students, taking into account sequencing and other factors that will set that path.
  • Collect, clean, input and organize data.
  • Use advanced Excel functions and formulas to curate critical outputs (i.e. future course scheduling needs). This may include utilization of institutional reports that contribute to critical outputs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify data needs and deliver on solutions.
  • Ensure data security and maintain confidentiality.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience in higher education within a registrar or academic advising unit.

What you bring:

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of expertise in Excel and understanding of the higher education academic curriculum
  • Experience in Office of the Registrar and/or Academic Advising highly recommended and prioritized
