For additional assistance, please visit: USAJOBS Help Center - Update your resume now so it meets new resume requirements Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: (1) Producing and directing audiovisual projects using a variety of technologies, (i.e, Adobe Creative Cloud, related Adobe products), within an approved budget. (2) Designing and developing multimedia assets (e.g., 3D models, interactive graphics, immersive technologies) and providing artistic direction for e-learning training. (3) Leading post-production editing efforts, combining scenes, graphics, and soundtracks into cohesive projects, and advising on content continuity and presentation. (4) Providing audiovisual assistance during studio and field productions, to include operating complex equipment, composing scenes, and supporting streaming video and virtual training events in alignment with organizational mission requirements. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. You qualify at the GS-11 grade level if you possess one of the following: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties that demonstrates the ability to: (1) Independently operating and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment, including cameras, audio recorders, switchers, and lighting, for both studio and field productions. (2) Editing video and audio content using advanced software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud), incorporating graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance production quality. (3) Providing input on script development, set design, and production scheduling to ensure effective communication of training objectives and messages. (4) Supporting the creation and integration of multimedia assets (e.g., photographs, infographics, animated graphics) for use in training and educational materials.; OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; OR A combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience as described above that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement. (2) Supporting the editing and basic integration of video and audio elements using standard editing software, resulting in timely delivery of clear and engaging audiovisual products. (3) Collaborating with team members to prepare talent, transfer media between formats, and archive audiovisual products, improving production efficiency and ensuring proper storage and retrieval for future use.; OR A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related; OR A combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience as described above that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement.
