Work Environment Your role will be conducted onsite at our outpatient office in Fairfax, surrounded by a supportive team dedicated to patient health and recovery. Operating from Monday to Friday during standard hours, you will engage directly with patients in a friendly and professional atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' conditions based on referrals from physicians and develop tailored treatment programs. Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, including home exercises and lifestyle modifications that enhance recovery. Utilize a variety of treatment modalities appropriate for the diverse client base, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate in refining treatment strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist with Avecina, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is mandatory to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. Current CPR certification to maintain patient safety during care. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Proficient in computer software for documentation, scheduling, and patient communication, along with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
