Study Physician (Assistant Professor)

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences is recruiting a study physician to join a landmark Alzheimer’s primary prevention clinical trial. Physicians (neurologists, geriatric psychiatrists, geriatricians) with training and recent clinical experience in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias are encouraged to apply. This is a part-time academic appointment within USF Health for clinicians who are interested in contributing to innovative, impactful research. Work schedule is flexible with assignments in St. Petersburg and Sarasota, Florida.
Conducts study visits in accordance with study protocols; Performs post intervention clinical evaluations.
Documents study visits, collects and enters data.
Performs other duties as assigned by Department Chair
Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency training program in psychiatry, neurology, or related field.
Related clinical or research experience in gerontology, Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
